We’re expecting over 500 players for our 2024 pickleball tournament, which also serves as the Maryland qualifier for the 2025 National Senior Games in Des Moines.

Registration is open to Maryland players only through Feb. 21. Out-of-state players can register starting Feb. 22. For men and women aged 50-plus, entry fee is $50 plus $5 for each additional event. Complete details are on PickleballBrackets.com

Pickleball, Track & Field Dates
Set For Nationals Qualifying

MSO’s huge pickleball tournament is moving to Dill Dinkers facilities in Columbia and Finksburg, May 16-19. Both facilities have 12 courts. Registration opens Feb. 8 through PickleballBrackets.com. We’ll have more specific details shortly, so stay tuned!

Meanwhile, our track and field event returns to Howard Community College in Columbia Aug. 3-4. Registration will open later this winter. Both events are qualifiers for the 2025 National Senior Games and open to out-of-state participants wishing to qualify.

National Games Adds 5 Sports,
4 Events For Des Moines 2025

Great news for billiards, disc golf, beach volleyball, non-ambulatory pickleball and more, but two sports and one event will be eliminated after the Des Moines Games. Details.

MSO Exploring Venue Changes in ’24

 
The locations of our 24 sports events have been mostly the same for 8-9 years, but there are practical and financial reasons for likely changes as MSO grows and evolves. Details.
