The following registration deadlines are fast approaching for these big MSO events:
• Table tennis, July 27 in Potomac. Deadline: Friday, July 12, 8 a.m.
• Disc golf, July 20 in Emmitsburg. Deadline: Thursday, July 18, 8 a.m.
• Basketball 3-on-3, Aug. 10-11 in Ellicott City. Deadline: Friday, July 26, 8 a.m.
• Track & field plus walking events, Aug. 3-4 in Columbia. Deadline: July 29, 8 a.m.

Our Biggest, Our Best:
Pickleball Tourney Is a Smash

Our four-day pickleball tournament, held May 16-19 at Dill Dinkers in Columbia and Finksburg, was MSO’s biggest event ever. Thanks to a large group of organizers, advocates and volunteers, it was also our most complex and successful. Read more here.

Track & Field, Swimming Dates
For 2025 Nationals Qualifying


Our big track and field event returns to Howard Community College in Columbia, Aug. 3-4, including our walking events. Both activities are qualifiers for the 2025 National Senior Games in Des Moines. This is a USATF-sanctioned meet.

The MSO swim meet will be held at Germantown Indoor Swim Center in Boyds with 16 events on Sept. 7. This time trial does not include the new springboard diving event. That event is being held Sept. 29 at the same center.

For men and women aged 50-plus, these activities are qualifiers for the 2025 National Senior Games in Des Moines. All MSO sports events are open to out-of-state participants. Registration opens in April.
